Slow Cooking: Barbecue Pork Chops

Spend 5 minutes in the morning and your main course will be ready at dinnertime! You can shred this to serve it as pulled pork if you like. (The secret is in the seasoning!)

4 servings, 15 carbs each*

4 boneless pork chops
Steak seasoning, to taste
8 TBL thick barbecue sauce

Line your slow cooker with a cooking bag for easy cleanup.
Place pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle seasoning on each. Top with barbecue sauce. Cover slow cooker and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours (7 to 8 if pork chops are frozen).

sbr honey bbq*Your mileage may vary on the carbs. I used Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey Barbecue Sauce, with 15 carbs per 2 TBL. It’s nice and thick, so a little goes a long way.
