Here’s our new favorite way to enjoy broccoli. You need only 3 ingredients, and it’s very easy to put together. Let the kids assemble this dish! It cooks on a sheet pan in about 10 minutes.
Roasted Broccoli
Makes 4 servings
4 cups broccoli florets
2 TBL olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt
Wash broccoli and shake to dry. Preheat oven to 425.
Use a quarter-sheet pan or small cookie sheet. Cover pan with foil if desired for easy cleanup.
Place broccoli in a single layer on baking pan, gathering it close together.
Drizzle olive oil over broccoli.
With your hands, roll broccoli in olive oil until well coated, then spread broccoli over the baking pan.
Sprinkle salt over top.
Bake about 10 minutes or until edges begin to caramelize.
Seasoning Options (not included in nutrition facts below)
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (before cooking)
Drizzle of fresh lemon juice (after cooking)
You think I could pull it off with frozen broccoli or would it get soggy?
