Sesame Green Beans

1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed
Ice water
1 TBL olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tbl soy sauce
1 tbl water
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds

Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and plunge into ice water until ready to use (this can be done ahead of time).
Heat olive oil in a skillet large enough for the beans to lie in a single layer. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger 2 minutes. Add beans, soy sauce and water. Stir to coat. Cook 2 minutes. Drizzle sesame oil over beans and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Stir-fry 2 minutes. Serves 4.
