Honey Mustard Chicken

Honey Mustard Chicken

Honey mustard is always a favorite flavor to pair with chicken, but this recipe dresses it up a bit with the addition of citrus and dill. Baked-chicken dishes like this one are great to add to your menu plan as the weather cools off.

Honey Mustard Chicken

serves 4 (2 drumsticks per serving)

1/3 cup Dijon mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons chopped dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill
1 teaspoon freshly grated orange peel
8 Bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks

Preheat oven to 400. Combine mustard and honey in a small bowl. Stir in dill and orange peel. Place chicken in baking pan. Brush sauce on top the chicken–coat well.

Brush skin with remaining sauce, midway through baking. Bake until juices run clear when thickest portion of meat is pierced with a knife–about 30 minutes for drumsticks.
